About
MASTER
Medical Association for Simulation, Training, Education and Research (MASTER) is a scientific association of like-minded medical professionals having an interest in simulation-based training and teaching. The association was formed with an objective to bring together in one body, all qualified persons practicing or interested in simulation-based teaching and training. It aims to educate the medical/ healthcare providers about simulation-based teaching and training options by holding workshops, talks, seminars, and symposia; and encourage and promote scientific and research work in the field of simulation-based teaching and training.
The association was formed in 2023 and the first academic program on simulation was held on a virtual mode in April ’23. The first official offline meeting under its agesis,“SIM-MEET 2023”, was held in August 2023 at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. It was during this meeting that the “MASTER” was officially announced, and membership invited. The association has a purely academic intent and holds a promise to grow enormously in the times to come.
The association aims to foster innovation, collaboration, and excellence in simulation-based training to improve patient outcomes and empower healthcare professionals. At MASTER, we plan to bring together educators, researchers, clinicians, and technology experts to share knowledge, advance best practices, collaborate for research opportunities and drive the future of healthcare education through simulation.
