Contribution points
SimMeet's content grows through educators' work, so everyone who writes, reviews, adapts or reports errors earns contribution points. Points can be used for subscriptions, extra features and discounts for your institution. We also plan to share revenue with authors and reviewers as their shared scenarios are used by paying institutions.
During the pilot, contributions are recorded and the first contributors are recognised as “founding contributors”.
FAQ
Do I have to share my scenario?
No. Your private scenarios remain yours.
Who owns the copyright?
The author does. If you share, you grant SimMeet a non-exclusive licence to use it in the library; details will be set out in the contributor agreement.
Do learners pay?
Not if their institution is licensed. Learners coming through Moodle are covered by the institutional licence.
